Mother Teresa once said, “I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.” What began as an initiative with Babcock Center Inc. to better the local community by offering jobs to people with lifelong disabilities, resulted in a 22-year relationship in which AMBAC was made better.

Babcock Center Inc. is a private, non-profit organization that provides homes, vocational training and employment opportunities for people with lifelong disabilities. Babcock empowers those with disabilities to enjoy life by promoting capabilities and respecting choice as they strive to create a community free if barriers for their residents.

Employees of Babcock Center Inc. are responsible for packing the majority of AMBAC’s products. On a daily basis, Babcock has anywhere between one to five employees getting our products ready to be shipped out all over the globe. We are honored to have had the opportunity to work with such great people since 1997 and look forward to growing our working relationship with them over the coming years.

Aurora Y. Smith, Assistant Director Employment and Vocational Services had this to say about AMBAC International, “Babcock Center, Inc. is proud to partner with AMBAC International to bring real meaningful job opportunities to the people that we support.   This opportunity has many candidates to work in a barrier free on-site inclusive work environment.” Aurora continues, “A strong supporter of our mission to empower people with lifelong disabilities to enjoy life by promoting abilities and respecting choice, Vision and Values we salute AMBAC International for their continuous support. “
